NEW UNILEVER BEAUTY
AND PERSONAL CARE BRAND IDENTITY 2018
As Beauty Design Director at U-Studio, Unilever ClickX’s creative director was leading the project to develop the new brand identity for the Personal Care Group, commissioned by the President B&PC and his team.
The objective was to create a new visual identity to position and communicate Unilever’s beauty expertise. We created options to explore the existing Personal Care logo towards an innovative execution that incorporated a more contemporary typeface and design.
The new design visually consolidated the category within the beauty industry by incorporating the heritage of the Unilever brand logo with the modernity and simplicity of the secondary logo Beauty and Personal Care. The message was clearly maintained by partnering the new typeface with the Unilever brand identity.
The new brand identity successfully enhanced Unilever’s prestige beauty regime and strategic business focus.
